Summary
Tim Jones is a crafty left-handed pitcher. Although a hard-luck loser so far this summer for the Swift Current Indians of the WMBL, his stats are still impressive: 38 strikeouts over 48 innings and only 9 walks. More impressive is that he does it with a variety of pitches; a 2 and 4-seam fastball that ranges 83 - 85 mph, a cutter, slider, change, and curve ball, all for strikes and on any count. He will change speeds and location all while pounding the strike zone, never allowing hitters a chance to get comfortable. Tim has also had to overcome life's obstacles during his college career, which started in 2006 and will finally conclude this summer with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. A quality young man that just doesn't quit, Tim will be a great addition to any club.
