Summary
After serving 4 years in the United States Marines, Luke Matthews decided to tryout for the baseball team at Monterey Peninsula College in California. After making the team, he proceeded to earn a 2nd team all-conference DH as a Freshman and then 1st team all-confence first baseman his sophomore season. He continued his college career at Eastern Nazarene University where he finished 2nd team all-conferece as a first baseman his juinor and senior seasons. At 6' 3", Luke has a stong athletic body that can hit for power as well as average. Luke led his team this past season hitting .420, 5 HR, 10 2B, and 47 hits. Luke will be a quality addition to any club on and off the field.
